Who we are
Our parish mission
We are a diverse Anglo-Catholic community, built on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people.
Our parish mission is underpinned by our parish plan, which outlines our aspirational goals for the coming three years: what we will be, what we will focus on and how we will succeed.
Our goal as a parish is to worship Christ in the Eucharist and serve Christ in the World.
Parish Plan
We will be:
- a flourishing, outward-looking community of faith
- a commmunity where lay, ordained and those called to the religious life are nurtured and grow
- a leader in the Catholic Anglican traditions of exceptional preaching, fine music, beautiful liturgy, and social action in support of the marginalised.
For 2025 - 2027, we will focus on:
- regular outreach to wider communities to stimulate reflection and engagement with the faith
- faith development and education for lay people; leadership in priestly formation
- consolidating support for the Music Foundation
- planning and undertaking removations for improved access to the church on the north-western side
- growing financial and other resources in the service of these objectives.
This will be supported by:
- people and finances to foster sustainable programmes, including appropriate use of our property assets
- good governance including sharing lay leadership widely within the parish.
